He wants to leave his wife and have sex with offshore drilling. Obama saw that people wanted offshore drilling so now he says he'll support it if it's a part of a more comprehensive policy. So really, they both support it, which is a shame. In the name of bipartisan politics, Obama is giving his supporters a second reason (after voting for protection for phone companies) to see him as nothing more than the lesser of two evils.<BR/><BR/>Anonymous, hmm, thanks for the link.<BR/><BR/>Tom, the only problem I have with Free Republic is that since Firefox 2 came with a built-in spell checker, it's not as funny as it used to be. But it's still pretty insane. Even Sean Hannity called them a fringe group. There was a time I was reading Democratic Underground a lot, and they were constantly fighting Free Republic people. But this week they have ratcheted it up so many levels that I find them terrifying. The violence in their rhetoric is increasing and the fact that it's not really being picked up by mainstream media outrage machine is disturbing. I want to see the guy who yelled "kill him" at the Palin rally interviewed, even if it's by Dr. freakin' Phil in the context of anger management pop psychology. These people really ought to be locked up or heavily medicated or just given their own country to go and ruin.<BR/><BR/>PS.
