This is What It's Like to Be a Stay At Home Dad

This is what it's like to stay at home with a hungry baby, a restless toddler, and two dogs. It's a long video, mostly involving some guy making really annoying noises to calm his daughter down while her milk is being defrosted in the sink. I meant really funny noises.

Seems like you had a captive audience of 1 for your funny noises and got an 100% approval rating.

When I did daycare, I used one of those mini crockpots (the kind that people use for warm dips and stuff like that) to warm bottles. It didn't get too hot, I could leave it plugged in all day with water in it and it warmed the bottles fast. Plus, it wasn't as expensive as those baby bottle warmers you see in the baby departments.

Your kids are adorable.

SJ, I'm just happy to see she has a sophisticated sense of humor.

Shelli, usually it's not a problem, because I start the process about an hour in advance. It's zen. Maybe zen-ish, even. (Thanks!)

That looks very familiar...I seem to recall that your older baby enjoyed having a blankie rubbed in his face too, didn't he? :-) :-) :-)

So where's the part where the baby attacks you??! too adorable, you're entertaining the baby so well, you're hired to do the job... FOREVER!!!

Jill, yep yep... I have only one trick. But you don't change a winning formula!

Sebastien, maybe she was laughing because I'm funny-looking.
