Welcome to Have Read (Seen, Listened To, Will Miss), Friday. I’m hoping
someone has managed to read a page or two of People, or Runners World, in
order to ...

My little monkey is convinced that Obama is Spiderman. I have a blue and red Obama button and the first time she saw it, she said "Spiderman!" I told her it was Barack Obama and asked her if he is Spiderman. Of course, she said yes. So there you have it. When he's not running for president, he's catching crooks just like flies.
Excellent. Get 'em on board early, I say!
Can he say Hussein though?
Pulling out these cute kid videos and pictures is just cheating in fairness.
Jason, it's easy to confuse them because Spidey also pals around with domestic terrorists.
Raging, as much as he appreciates McCain's service to his country, he just feels he can't trust him. In a way, he thinks, McCain's promise to continue what in the past he called the immoral tax breaks for the wealthy is proof enough of the bankruptcy of the Republican ideology and of the Rove-ian politics of division and fear. In the end, Liam's vote for A-a-ma is as much about his message of change as it is a default vote against McCain's cynical transformation. Poor guy watches Countdown a lot. I promise after the elections we'll watch some cartoons together.
Xbox, I know. I'm shameful. People tear out their hearts to come up with meaningful posts, while all I have to do is play air-trombone and say Obama a few times, and I have a post.
I get "Rock O'Mama" from my girl.
The trombone is an excellent instrument to learn to play, even if it is the favored classical brass instrument of domestic terrorists and PLO spokesmen.
Good that he's not old enough to vote.
I love the laughing, nothing makes me happier right now than getting the boy giggling. And it doesn't take much!
Is it just me or is your son a friggen genius? And a super adorable genius at that!
I really respect and relate to his opinion on McCain.
The kid is cute the dad seems to be a bit loony.
Cute kid! I spent months teaching my nephew to say MY name, and all that came out of his mouth was "Thomas" (the tank engine). Kids can be so stubborn and opinionated at that age.
Great timing on this video and I can see and feel the love you both share with each other. Thanks for sharing!
You said it, kid.
Case, after the last few days of being made to watch TV and being swamped by Rev. Wright ads, he can also say, "Not God bless America! But God damn America!"
Woozie, and don't forget rusty-trombone lovers.
Freeman, thing is, I have to come up with something new every few days. Already the trombone just makes him smile politely.
Aimee, thing is, I wish I could be certain his opinions were indeed his own and not some rubbish he read online. Kids that age have very limited critical thinking!
SJ, poor guy can't choose his parents.
Kristen, were you dragging a train behind you at the time? That could have confused him.
Let's, thank you. Yes, he could.
Red, he needs to get better at that now. Otherwise, Obama will raise his taxes and give them to domestic terrorists. (or maybe use that money to teach kindergartners about sex).
Atta boy!! Teaching him the good stuff. Good man!
I knew he was going to be a genius. I just knew it.
Ricardo, I don't know. Ten months of sitting in front of MSNBC and that's all he knows? I would have expected him to know the entire McCain stump speech by now: "Obama wants to 'spread the wealth.' He wants to be distributor in chief. I want to be commander in chief!" Man, I'll miss the old fool.
Wishful, you know he's not just a pretty face.
My kids love to say "Obama", it's awesome.
Is he calling everyone "my friends?" McCain did that a lot.
Girl, it has all those first syllables babies like. His name would have been perfect for babies if it also included an angry scream.
Ricardo, man, I think I blocked that one. I completely forgot he did that all the frickin' time. It was one of his ticks. Like every time he lied he played with his ring. Motherfucker.
i have some acquaintances in high GDPing countries who still confuse the name with osama
Lirun, don't you know it's the same guy? Haven't you been following Palin's speeches?
must have missed that one.. i only heard the one about knowing a great recipe for Borscht because she saw someone cook it in vladivostok when she looked out of her bedroom window one morning?
I think what she actually said was that she was a wildlife expert because she went to the zoo.
was on the tip of my tongue.. תודה כפארה
:)
"as much as he appreciates McCain's service to his country, he just feels he can't trust him..."
The kid is cute AND has a good head on his shoulders!
Lirun, hey, you're welcome.
Jill, I can't wait for the conversations (and debates) we'll have once he gets his teeth.
