Five Months Report
Here's what we do at home, courtesy of crappy cellphone camera:
We eat
The first peas didn't go so well. He puked green, which made me think the evil demons were leaving his body. Then I remembered it had to be the peas. It's cool now.
Actually, the other day I was doing that ol' "One for daddy... one for mommy... one for grandma..." And then I realized it was wrong, that I was sending us both on the irreversible path of using food as emotional blackmail. So instead, I told him if he had one more bite his balls would get bigger. And they did.
We bath
I'm getting the hang of that one. It's actually kind of fun.
We chat
We contemplate

We play

His mom had to overcome her clownophobia to put him there.
I had to overcome my don'ttouchmycomputerphobia to put him there. We drink!

We put pants on our heads

We punch each other in the face

OMG he's getting so big! I'm glad my kids aren't the only ones that drank heavily as babies. I can see from the look on his face he really likes beer! LOL cute pictures!!!!
Those clips are way cute. I remember clearly the days when my kids were babies and "chatted" like that. My first one's favorite was "ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba" Needless to say, I have lots of video of that.
Gorgeous pants on the head picture! An adorable baby with oodles of character.
Found you via David.
Crystal Jigsaw
that's just too bloody cute
"Here's what WE do at home"? I don't buy it. That is what Liam does at home. You are just lucky he lets you tag along.
He's a cool dude.
We are so cool !!!
Those photos are so precious, cherish them--even if they are on a "crappy cell phone camera."
LOL! I love picture number 3, he's adorable! :)
Oh my this was such a pleasant surprise!! He's just simply adorable!!
What a great dad you are!!
Hugs,
Jackie
Sweet pictures
Coulrophobia is a very real and serious phobia. Being afraid of clowns is not only a reflection of your wife's rationality but she seems ridiculously hot.
Oh yeah-cute kid too..
Woah, he's grown so much! It's amazing how the time flies :) And he's drinking already, hehe. I'm glad to see the natural order of things, as he has the pants on his head *after* the drink, not before :D
Aimee, I would have been fine with it if it were just beer, but an hour later, when I was cleaning after him, I realized he emptied the beer and filled the bottle with whiskey. That's my boy!
Jeff, trust me--these are just the phone videos, and I can only get fifteen seconds there. On the real camera I have much longer conversations he has with himself. I can't get enough of this stuff.
Crystal, another David Person! Thanks for coming and for appreciating my baby's wardrobe malfunction.
Xbox, thank you. Hopefully you'll have your own pants on the head picture soon. I would have prayed for you but I don't have much influence over there. Still, I hope it'll happen.
Pelkyi, if a father puts pants on his baby's head and a bottle of beer on his chair and no social worker is around to see it, did it really happen?
Negrito, one day we'll get a picture with you, and then we'll be really cool.
Godless, thanks. I will. For some reason my crappy phone takes crappy but interesting photos, sometimes better than the real camera.
Maurica, thanks. I have to admit it is a pretty cute picture.
Jackie, thanks. I don't know about that. I just take pictures. He's doing all the work.
Old Man, thanks.
Anonymous, happy Mother's Day. You're cute. No, you're cute.
Rache, you should see him after a six pack.
Cute pictures. And the kid has good taste in beer.
CUUUUUUTE! HE AND YOU! candice and i will be in baltimore this weekend, looking forward to family dinner with ya'll and the little one. glad to see all is well! miss you!
aaron w.
Yellojkt, Belgian beer and big boobs. That's my boy alright.
Aaron, that'll be great. We'll see you Sunday(?). All of us, including Buddy and Gonger, are much cuter than you remember.
soooooooooo adorable
He is cute. I can't argue with that. Even if sometimes I want to bang my head on the wall when he cries. But that's why God made Tylenol Extra Strength.
I love it when they are that age!! So innocent, so cute. You realize that in about 17 more he will total your car :) Oh wait...thats MY son. My son was a really cute baby too.
Mel, of course, if he totals the car, my only concern will be that he's okay. Now, once I make sure he's not hurt, I'll send him to military school.
Need to find more sepia pics of a much younger me.
I'm sorry, SJ, but even sepia can't compete with a baby in a rhino towel.
Hey there,
Came over from Ask And You Shall Receive. Great site, I'm glad you submitted so I could find you. I think we've got boys of the same vintage and are going through some of the same things! It's good, innit?
All the best,
Chris
Chris, thanks. You have a pretty cool site yourself, you know, and cool Flickr page, too. Zach is about three months older than Liam. Looks like you're having fun with this baby thing. And it gets better? You mean there's a chance I won't be eating an entire Costco Tylenol Extra Strength in one week when he gets a little older?
All the best to you, too.
WAY too cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I want a baby. Oh no wait actually I don't. I forgot, my kids are pretty independent now & I get to do stuff sometimes...can I just borrow yours?
That is one gorgeous child!
The man junk was released at the appropriate time to produce him, that is all your allowed :)
Jill, you can borrow him, but that's only because we're friends. We usually charge $25/hr (or $50 if he wears a cute outfit).
Claire, thank you. Oh. Readers, Honey, this comment makes sense in context, I swear.
