That was the sound of me stealing this idea for my next blogiversary.
Great stuff.
Comment by SJ on 8:03 AM
Congrats on becoming a one year old.
Like them pit bulls and you.
Comment by Kev Brown on 8:27 AM
Congratulations! Keep it up.
Comment by Tsedek on 9:13 AM
Congrats greenie :D
One year only?
Hahahha.... keep it up though,
altough I suspect that when the
new arrival is here - you'll be
busy with other things :D
Comment by Mel on 9:12 PM
your doggies are just adorable!! Congrats!

Congratulations! Happy first birthday ... where is my chocolate cake??
Catherine, the redhead
Comment by Jennifer on 7:18 AM
Congrats! I for one am happy that you are a blogger. We need more great blogs (ok, I would never have time to read more great blogs but still).
Here's to the next year and counting -- minus that break you'll likely be taking when junior arrives.
Comment by Jeff on 8:48 AM
That was awesome. And now I'll have that song with me all day too.
Thanks!
Comment by Kate on 8:54 AM
that was awesome (very creative)!! LOVE the pooches (it made me think that that kid of yours is gonna have you wrapped around his little finger! lol) My dogs play in much the same way... only each weighs about 10 lbs! lol
Happy Anniversary!
Comment by Shelli on 9:42 AM
That was awesome, Peep. You are really amazing. You always make me think and laugh and sometimes both at the same time. You rock!
Comment by Shelli on 9:42 AM
Oh, and happy blogiversary!
Comment by Ms. Q on 1:48 PM
That was so creative! Made me wish I had video capabilities.
Happy anniversary - I'm just a little older than you ...;-)
Comment by Woozie on 4:12 PM
Eww, red rocket!
That aside, great video.
Comment by Jill on 9:53 PM
That was so neat! What is that song?
Comment by People in the Sun on 2:25 AM
Dan, go ahead. I'm glad you liked it. (By the way, if you want to steal stuff, maybe you should make less noise. That's kind of the point of being a criminal mastermind).
SJ, thanks. It went by very quickly. I think next year's video will look very different.
Kev, thanks (and welcome).
Tsedek, I hope I'll have time. Let's see if I manage the new work schedule I start on Thursday. My days are too short. It's probably a good thing that I feel life is too short, right?
Mel, thank you. They are pretty goddamn cute.
Catherine, did you check under your pillow? In fact, I've left a piece of chocolate cake under the pillow of each person that commented here. If you can't find it then the ants must have eaten it.
Jennifer, aww, thank you. And I hope I won't have to take a break. After all, how will people know what it feels like to change diapers for the first time?
Jeff, I heard that song a while ago and moved on with my life. Then I heard it again and did some air drumming. By the third time it was stuck in my brain. I love the way it randomly fits the video.
Kate, no no no. Tough love. He's expected to read the Bible (in Latin) by the time he's three and start a new religion by the time he's five. Or it's military school.
Shelli, thanks and thanks and thanks and thanks and thanks. I'm glad you like the video (it's my first one). That's the benefit of not having internet for a week--you find time to fool around with Windows Movie Maker.
Ms. Q, seriously it took me two hours of cut-and-paste. And it was really fun. And I don't really have video capabilities (I couldn't even get my feet to move with the music in the video), but it still came out as a fun little thing, and I'm really glad you liked it.
Woozie, in fact, I had to rearrange it a bit because originally I had the ultrasound picture randomly just after the red rocket video and it looked pervy. So yes, I noticed that (but was hoping other people wouldn't)...
Jill, hey, I should have at least put it in the labels, right? I'll correct it now. And it's "Collection of Stamps" by I'm from Barcelona.
Comment by ~Deb on 10:57 AM
Congrats! The second year is EXHAUSTING! (hehe) Hope you keep up with the fantastic job! Keep on bloggin'!
Comment by Jill on 11:08 PM
Cool! I'm adding that to my myspace page song player!!! The music thing even has it! :-)
Comment by LET'S TALK on 11:14 PM

Congratulations on reaching a blog-iversary! I'm quite new to this whole thing myself, but I'm enjoying it. Any suggestions or comments on my blog would be most welcome!
Comment by Tricia on 1:47 AM
Congratulations!
It's been a long year! Great video.
Comment by People in the Sun on 4:49 PM
Deb, thanks. And thanks. The second year is when it all happens. Can anyone even imagine Lost without the second season's "Tailies"? or without the third season's "Others"? Wait, does it mean I'm going to jump the shark soon?
Jill, mission accomplished. I think. I don't know the MySpace lingo.
Let's, thank you.
Judith, I had no idea what I was doing at first, and a year later I think your new site is already more focused than mine. So just keep doing it. Maybe join Blog Explosion and Blog Catalog (the buttons are on the right sidebar) to see more blogs and discussions. And don't be discouraged if people take their time coming over. Good luck.
Tricia, welcome, and thanks. I hope next year is even longer because I'm having a good time, relatively.

Grats on the ding! :)
Comment by Bunk on 10:08 AM
Those "ladies" in pink seem to be very excited about your one year celebration! And those pit bulls look like they make great co-workers. Seriously, congrats on the 1-year anniversary!
Comment by People in the Sun on 11:31 AM
Dave, hey, thanks. Here's to many more dings to come.
Bunk, this parade was just a small part of the world-wide celebrations. I'm just grateful and feel blessed there were less than a hundred serious injuries in total.
Comment by Suzi on 4:23 PM
Hey, congratulations! You chose a good year to start blogging, one that was eventful. Your dogs are fabulous!
Comment by Tsedek on 6:02 PM
It's probably a good thing that I feel life is too short, right?
let's hear you talk when you're 120 :D
Comment by Secret Simon on 6:34 PM
Congrats all round: great blog, brilliant video, and I'm especially impressed with the dogs...
Comment by Jeronimo on 6:56 PM

may you long live to blog along with your grand grand sons and your beautiful wife and doggies.
be happy.
with love.
Comment by People in the Sun on 7:31 PM
Suzi, thanks. But it's more like my previous boss chose a good year to fire me. I knew it was all for the best, though (even if at times I may have doubted, I admit).
Tsedek, I want to outlive everyone I know, like Highlander. I'm lying. But 120 is still... so soon...
Simon, it took me years to train them to fight in time with the music. (and thanks).
Jeronimo, awwww. I hope you especially liked the end of the video, with the two banners. Your banner really made all the difference.
Comment by firerobin on 8:33 PM
Congrats on your 1 year anniversary ... I just celebrated my 1 month anniversary.
Comment by Kagemonsteret on 7:28 AM
Congrats with that!
Comment by People in the Sun on 11:50 PM
Firerobin, congratulations (and thanks). You've made it through a month--that's probably more than 99% of blogs.
Kagemonsteret, and soon congratulations to you too.
