Greetings, I came across your site and I have spent a couple of hours looking over the articles.
I wonder if you would be interested in a link exchange. My traffic is comparable to yours.
If you are not interested, no problem. -- Sincerely,
I don't mean to be insensitive by any means... but the fact is, there is nothing that's going to make everyone happy.
Christianity is in an uproar over many governmental issues as well, and I don't really agree with their protests either.
Logically, there is no way to assure the HAPPINESS of everyone - christian, muslim, immigrants... and yes, atheists.
Our morals and ethics closely follow those of the 10 commandments. Stealing, killing, etc... the protests I'm seeing by religions and organizations these days ring about as logical as someone saying "I don't believe in God nor any of the moral values this nation has, therefore I think I should be able to rape, steal, and kill as I see fit, and you can't do anything to me because those are my BELIEFS."
Yes, it's an extreme example. But it's about as illogical as this video seemed to me.
Buy your beer on Saturday. Find a job that's more rewarding than a public office for a country that passes legislation you don't agree with. And remember, your dollar buys the same crap that the rest of our dollars buy.
I don't see why you would be upset, though. This video comes as a pretty straightforward explanation for the way Atheists feel living in America. The laws in this country do not closely follow those of the Bible, but ancient moral codes that were created by logic and evolutionary survival of the human species. I don't want to move, I just want to be able to be honest about my moral-system, which is probably not that far from yours. Thanks for the comment, and I'm sorry if I offended you in any way.

Just an honest opinion.
Thanks Lindsey,
